Tweet TweetAll of us get influence a lot by our surroundings. As our next generation grows up, they have so many touch points with outer world. Through this touch points next generation gets influenced and their action are determined. As a potter gives shape to mud to form a beautiful pot, these different touch points act as a way to mould the next generation. Also some things which surprise me are the facts that we ignore actuals and rely on undated things said by our ancestors. For instance traditionally occupations which people perceive should be done by female are actually ruled by males. 1.cooking – are dominated by males chefs. 2.cleaning: most laundry I’d done by males 3.... Tweet TweetBrowsing through google, i came across an interesting article “Why Women Make Better Leaders“. This article made me think if there are any peppy (lively and high-spirited) women leaders who can inspire others? Image credit : grandstandstore.com As womenfolk endure their upward flight in the business world, they have yet to be fully respected for the exceptional potentials and skills they bring to the workplace. It’s impossible to respect worth and respect great leadership if you can’t recognize what makes a leader great.  Because of this, the identity crisis that exists in today’s workroom is something that women leaders in particular have been facing for much... As an adult there are eight areas where improvement is needed to improve life’s navigation skills:   emotive, physical, mental, interpersonal, monetary, nuptial, divine and professional. Developing the skills needed to successfully navigate life is an important skill needed in our life. In addition to a variety of formal skills development such as li... Read more

Tweet TweetSometimes, superstitions come in the way of sound investments because we get caught up in rituals or superstitions instead of thinking and investing smartly. Investing superstitions can mess with our emotions and possibly influence to the point that any one of us can make a bad investment decision.   All these superstitions have one thing in common: they encourage market timing by claiming to know the best and worst times to invest. But accurately timing the market is nearly impossible, even for the most seasoned financial experts with access to the best economic forecasts and market analysis. You have to be right twice. It’s not just about getting out, but when to get ba... Read more

Tweet Tweet As the famous saying goes “Good teachers know how to bring out the best in students”, my behavior today is mainly due to what role my teachers especially Principal Stephen sir has played. My first interaction happened with him when I met him for admission. My Dad had just managed a transfer from Assam and he wanted to get me an admit to the best school. Stephen sir talked to me and asked about the experience in Assam for half an hour. For me the whole interaction seemed good but then he asked me to go outside and told my dad that I should first perform well in another school in the city before I come back. It became an important in my dad’s life and he kept reminding me. F... Read more

Above video is an best example of how one wish lead to another one. After all, that’s what we are all about. Fueling & fulfilling wishes. Below is my story of wishing and gifting. The manifestation “bigger is better” actually makes an appealing sensible recommendation when you’re trying to adopt on TV screen size. My understanding has been that in most conditions — and particularly when selecting a TV for the main room — we should go with the biggest screen the room, watching distance, and financial plan can house. I hardly hear people wishing their TV’s screen was smaller. I love to watch tv almost as much as I love anything else. But for me the part t... Read more

Ultimate gift from God or call it the ultimate gift I ever had was given to me by God.My gift is called “Dad”! The bond that a father shares with his kids is just something beyond words! Well, as it is, fathers never really express their feelings with words, but it is always there in their eyes. Most dads don’t want anything expensive for Father’s Day – unless you are thinking of getting him a new gadget that can help him plan his day, keep things clean and everything else apart from him behaves as he wants them to work. Having an army background, my dad believes in discipline and planning for things before he executes any task. But isn’t this a very basic need? I ... Read more

Image Source: Kinley Contest by Indiblogger Have you ever heard of devil’s advocate? If not then is what Wikipedia given the definition of it has ” The purpose of such a process is typically to test the quality of the original argument and identify weaknesses in its structure, and to use such information to either improve or abandon the original, opposing position” Well when I started watching this program, I hated it. But when people started calling me a devil’s advocate, I was really wondering what really bought about this change in me. This tag I got when I came to work rather than in my school or college. It is surprising on what bought about this change in me. I think it... Read more

India is one of the fastest growing automobile markets in the world. The growth of the economy and a constantly increasing middle class has ensured that more and more buyers flock to the car market. But, of late, there has also been an upward trend in the luxury segment because of the nouveau riche who is the result of a booming economy. Not content with the mid level models available, this target market has been ready to pay mega bucks for their vehicle of choice, regardless of the price tag. Before the big multinational players set up their operations and sales, there were imports happening. While there is demand for all the big brands, Audi, of late, has been leading the sales numbers wit... Read more

image credit : office.com clip art It was not like any other day of the year. Hectic schedules of life looked like never ending and morning chitchats had reduced to just saying hello and bye. I have been making excuses to her delaying our shopping plan for last 6 months and she has been patiently listening. But today she just got a call from her friend that they wanted to come by. Wondering how I came to know about it? Long story short – ‘I got a sms from a jealous friend, thanking me for throwing a party to women’s gang’. Then the whispers started slowly and loudly. As I was scanning the stocks in my newspaper, I suddenly get a pat on my back. When I look back, someone just took awa... Read more

If I ever got a chance to change history I would definitely be in favor of abolishing all the religions to ensure that societies deliberate only on the foundation of facts and shortcomings. Religion is strongly appealing and loud-mouthed individual’s battle over it. Image Credit : http://www.leftyparent.com Human’s battle over small morsels of crushed carbon, water, food, medicines, matches of different games and many more. But, religion has been a main reason for some past skirmishes and recent extremism across the world. Religion has taken on additional implication today because globalization is perplexing and altering the whole thing. For example in former Yugoslavia the different gro... Read more
